  • Buzzy, fast, scenic

  • It's a big race, but closed roads, so it doesn't feel crowded. There are some undulations but nothing too much to worry about or slow you down. It's a rewarding course to race.

  • The out and back at 10 miles was hard, but it is slightly uphill on the way out, so don't forget that - once you make the turn you pick up the pace again.

  • Everyone - but especially if you're looking for a fast half to test fitness before a spring marathon.

  • Arrive early. The bag drop is in a sports hall, which is great, but there can be quite a queue to get out and to the start.

  • Have fun!
