Fast, Flat, Food!

Perfect for spring marathon training and an ideal opportunity to test out pacing, kit and fueling.
The course is 2 x 8 miles loops with an additional 4 miles at the end. James and I had a strategy of running an easier pace for the first 8 miles then picking up the pace on the second lap to finish strong. Worked really well and finished strong.
-
The last 4 miles were tough on busier footpaths – good assimilation of a major marathon though.
-
Anyone training for a spring marathon or building up to longer distances.
-
Great opportunity to put your training plan to test. Go for it.
-
The good bags and swag at the end are amazing – you won’t go thirsty or hungry.
