The views - we had an unusually clear day! And the final run to the finish; on a runnable path with a delicious downhill gradient with my kids joining me for the final run in.

The 1st rocky descent off Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) - definitely not my strength. Plus the final ascent with its many false summits! And there's always an epic bog somewhere...

Someone who enjoys being in the mountains and can cope with all types of terrain (rocky, grassy, boggy). And maybe wants some UTMB running stones...

Definitely worth recceing the route if you're not familiar with the terrain in Eryri (Snowdonia). Book accommodation early or consider camping.

It's part of the UTMB set of races, so you can collect running stones. It also means it's a big event with lots of runners. Other options are the 100k and 165k which get more technical, as well as being longer.
