70 km | 2600m elevation |
Peak District

  • Scenic, Friendly, Fun

  • Descending into Castleton towards the finish just as the sun was setting was beautiful.

  • The climb out of Bamford is a bit of a slog on a tarmac road heading towards the edges.

  • Anybody who wants to do a fantastic low key trail race.

  • Keep it slow and steady at the start. You are straight into a pretty big climb at the very beginning.

  • Peak Running are a fantastic organisation. Their events are for everyone of all abilities.

You have the option to start early as a non competitive entry so you can complete the route in your own way and see some lesser known areas of the Peak District.

There is also a 35k version of this event that covers the first half of the 70k.
